Three encaustic works submitted to the “got wax?” exhibit were all accepted by the jury. Each encaustic mixed media painting is part of The Pale Blue Dot series. The works are, “Deforestation: Gold Mining the Amazon,” “Deforestation 2: At A Crossroads,” and “Extreme Wildfires.

The Pale Blue Dot is an ongoing series supported, in part, by two grants from The Greater Columbus Arts Council. 

The exhibit at the d’Art Center in Norfolk, VA opened February 20th 2026 and will continue through Saturday, March 14th.
