Three encaustic works submitted to the “got wax?” exhibit at the d’Art Gallery were all accepted by the jury. The encaustic mixed media paintings, part of The Pale Blue Dot series, are: “Deforestation: Gold Mining the Amazon;” “Deforestation: At A Crossroads;” and “Extreme Wildfire.” The Pale Blue Dot is an ongoing series supported in part by two grants from The Greater Columbus bus Arts Council. The exhibit at the d’Art Center in Norfolk, VA opened February 20, 2026 and will continue through Saturday, March 14th.
