Coronavirus arrived with the spring flowers. In our region, the last snow drops still hang on delicate stems. These tiny flowers have long reminded me of an etching by the artist Odilon Redon (1840 – 1916) called Swamp Flower, A Sad and Human Face. If I were to put a face on Covid-19 it would be a tragically sad one. The 2020 version of the etching would include a face covering to prevent even more sad faces.

Exposure: f/16, ISO 100, 24-105 lense @ 80 mm, 1 minute 23 seconds. Two handheld flashlights, one warm and one cool – not a good idea. Color corrections in post processing helped balance the color casts.
